Membership is free. A paid Premium membership is planned but is not yet active, and we do not currently process any payments. When it launches, payment will be handled by a regulated third-party payment provider and card details will never reach our systems.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools of any kind — no Google Analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers. We do not build profiles of you for advertising, and we make no automated decisions that produce legal effects for you.

COINs are a digital loyalty balance inside the app. They are not money, not electronic money, and not a payment instrument. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, exchanged for cash or held on deposit, and they have no monetary value outside the Irish Club programme. Your COIN balance is a record of your participation, and we process it only to run the programme.

Irish Club operates across countries, including Ireland, Chile and Colombia, so your data may be processed outside the country where you live. Our systems run on Google Cloud, and where data is processed outside the European Economic Area we rely on Google’s Data Processing Addendum, which incorporates the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Your data keeps the same level of protection wherever it is processed.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This removes your membership, your profile and your COIN balance. You can also turn location access off at any time in your device settings — the app will still work, but it will not be able to show you what is near you.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Your data is stored on Google Cloud, which provides encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the people who need it to run the service, and passwords are stored hashed — we never see them. No system is completely secure, but we take this seriously and will notify you and the Irish Data Protection Commission within 72 hours if a breach is likely to affect your rights.

Irish Club is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old to become a member, because the club includes venues that serve alcohol and experiences involving Irish whiskey. We ask for your date of birth to confirm this. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and will delete it if we discover we have.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
